Letter Run is basically a scavenger hunt, and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to search each room for treasure that means a lot to our team. Hints will pop up to help you along your quest, so go explore — and have fun!
It started as a design exercise — and quickly became so much more.
At Edgar Allan (I named the team after me ;)), we think of our brand as a club, one that’s founded around creating immersive and interactive experiences through our cryptocurrency and gaming platform. For us, this is embodied by our character-driven logo, Edgar, which represents our commitment to combining the thrill of discovery with innovative financial opportunities.
The project that eventually became Letter Run started with our club in mind. “What if we illustrated the letters that make up EDGAR ALLAN into little rooms?” turned into “What if we made the whole thing 3D?” which turned into “What if we made it into a game?”
With each iteration and expansion, we pushed ourselves further, learning about Three.js and 3D modeling along the way. And what started as a side-project turned into an organization-wide effort, one that we hope represents us: story-driven, optimistic, and fun, just for the sake of it.
Thank you to everyone from the Edgar Allan team and beyond who pitched in, including:
